“`Duties:“`
– Prepare surfaces for painting and staining
– Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes
– Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply coats of paint or other finishes to surfaces
– Clean up work areas and remove hazardous materials after completing painting projects
“`Requirements:“`
– Proven experience as a finish painter utilizing a spray booth and knowledge of all the phases of coating and painting
– Solid knowledge of painting techniques and tools
– Familiarity with finishing process of high end millwork, e.g. cabinets and interior and exterior doors
– Ability to read job orders and follow instructions accurately
– Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
– Comprehensive knowledge of high end spray equipment is a plus
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
– Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed within deadlines
– Have a positive can do attitude
